“ Harbord Fish and Chips has been my go-to fish fry for many years. This pint sized eatery has a couple stools inside and a couple picnic benches outside. It is more like a food stall than a restaurant. The chips are excellent, fried up golden brown and there is a choice of 2 kinds of fish - halibut and haddock. The fish is battered and fried to order and wrapped up in butchers paper and newspaper and adds to the nostalgic feel. Although seating is limited, there are no washrooms and cash only, this place is a great Toronto catch. There are a few parks a close walk by if you want to picnic your meal. Some say that it is expensive, but in my opinion the price reflects the quality of the fish and it feels good to support a local family run business. ”

Couldn't finish one fish so we saved that for later, the server was very generous with the chips and I love all coleslaw. The coleslaw is minced veggies but I still enjoyed it. Personally I liked mixing the hot sauce tartar sauce vs the boyfriend likes his ketchup and tartar. ”

The shop is very small but there are still a few seating areas up against the windows. It smells amazing when you walk by and for good reason!
